Christ was born and revealed big news to us and you.
When the angel Gabriel
informed Maria about the birth of Jesus Christ, she asked, "How will it
happen to me, because I do not know a man?"
God chose the weakest and most
gracious, the most virtuous and most faithful wife of the Lord. The question of
the Virgin was not skepticism but truth. And after hearing the angel's
explanation, St. Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord"
(Luke 1: 30-38).
Today, unfortunately, there are people who initially make this
question skeptical and sometimes ridiculous. "How could a virgin have a
son?"
God has always prepared people for such great events and miracles
that people will not be tempted when they happen.
