"Kind words are like
honey, sweet to the soul..."
A very familiar verse for a
lot of us. After reflecting on this verse I couldn't help but think about warm
and deep conversations with good friends. Words have the ability to cut like a
knife, but they can also heal and refresh your soul. As women, it can sometimes
feel like we're always in competition with each other, but it shouldn't be that
way! Godly women should lift each other up! Encourage one another! God wants us
to be a blessing to others. Genesis 12:2 says " I will bless you, I will
make your name great, and you will be a blessing." You never know the
positive impact you can have on someone simply by being encouraging and
speaking kind words to their heart.
This page was done with
watercolors as the base, outlined and detailed with Faber-Castell Artist Pens
and I added shading and color with Prismacolor pencils.

Ein sehr vertrauter Vers für
viele von uns. Nachdem ich über diesen Vers nachgedacht habe, kam ich nicht
umhin, über gute und intensive Gespräche mit guten Freunden nachzudenken. Worte
haben die Fähigkeit, wie ein Messer zu schneiden, sie können aber auch heilen
und die Seele erfrischen. Es kann sich manchmal anfühlen, als ob wir immer im Wettbewerb mit einander stünden.
Aber so sollte es nicht sein! Göttliche Frauen sollten sich gegenseitig
aufbauen! Sich einander ermutigen! Gott will, dass wir ein Segen für andere
sind. Genesis 12: 2 sagt: "Ich werde dich segnen, ich werde deinen Namen
groß machen, und du wirst ein Segen sein." Du kannst nie die positiven
Auswirkungen kennen, die Du auf jemand haben kannst, indem du einfach ermutigende
und freundliche Worte zu ihren Herzen sprichst.
